Magical Christmas Adventure
Decked out in Christmas splendor, The Lodge will again host Santa as he brings holiday wonder to Hidden Valley for the 2025 Christmas Season. It was such a success last year, we are extending Santa's visit for two more weekends. The holiday adventure begins Friday, November 28 and runs four consecutive weekends through December 21. Book your tickets now.
You and your family will first make memories in Santa’s Wonderland writing letters of Christmas wishes to Santa, decorating Santa's favorite butter cream cookies, and visiting with Santa to take holiday photos.
Next, you will step outside The Lodge to Kris Kringle Station (lower level), where you will board your trolley and be transported to Hidden Valley’s Mystical Forest.
Your (20 minute) journey will take you pass herds of bison and elk. You’ll also see Randy the camel, llamas, and a flock of blackbelly sheep roaming the wintery terrain.
Back at the station, feed and pet a variety of live animals in open-air stalls on the patio just outside The Trailside Grill. Biff the Bison and Zoey the Zebra will be there to help!
This year we've created a holiday-themed balloon art experience so each little one will leave with a festive animal balloon buddy at the end of your adventure.

Trailside Grill will be open with limited menu for purchase to include chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, game meat burgers, bison chili, fries, and beverages. Roasted nuts and game meat sticks are available for snacks in the Trading Post Gift Shop (a great place for holiday gifts).

Hidden Valley Gingerbread House Competitionn

Rules and Requirements for Christmas Gingerbread Houses:
- Each house must be made from 75% gingerbread and be 100% edible. All houses must have at least 4 walls and one roof…made from gingerbread.
- The platter/tray/board or plate holding your house must not exceed 24” x 24”.
- Entries will be judged on creativity, overall appearance, craftsmanship, and construction difficulty.
- Entries may be submitted in one of four categories: Child (5-8), Youth (9-12), Teen (13-17), Adult (18+).
- Entry form (below) must be submitted by November 23, 2025.
- All entries (houses) must be delivered to Hidden Valley on Tuesday, November 25 by appointment. Email info@hiddenvalleyadventure.com.
Winners will be notified on November 26, 2025 and the top three winning houses in each category will be displayed in The Lodge November 28 – December 21 throughout our Magical Christmas Adventure event.
Prizes in each category are:
- 3rd prize – $10 Hidden Valley Gift Card
- 2nd prize – $25 Hidden Valley Gift Card
- 1st prize – $50 Hidden Valley Gift Card
A Best Overall prize will be awarded to one winner and will receive a $125 gift card

Reservations and Check-in Required
When booking your reservation time, allow 3 hours for the full adventure. Check-in inside the main lobby of The Lodge (upper level) at the time of your reservation. Your Magical Christmas Adventure will begin in Santa’s Wonderland followed by your Mystical Forest Tour. After your tour, you are free to visit with the animals, shop, and eat at your leisure on the lower level.
This is an indoor/outdoor event so please dress for the weather.
Event Booking Disclaimer

We have revised our change/cancel booking policy for this event due to winter weather conditions. Please read carefully:
If you need to reschedule your Magical Christmas Adventure booking, changes may be made up to the date and time of your reservation. Follow the instructions on your confirmation email and select "change booking." All guests may reschedule their booking up to the date and time of their reservation based on availability. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please refer to your confirmation email and select "cancel booking." This, too, must be done no later than the date and time of your reservation. Follow the instructions to receive an HVAA eGift Card for future use at HVAA. (Guests who purchase Trip Protection can cancel up to 72 hours prior to their visit for a full refund.)
If you are running late the day of, or have trouble rescheduling or canceling your booking, please email info@hiddenvalleyadventure.com with the name on the reservation and a contact phone number. This must be done by or before the date and time of your reservation.
We will accommodate guests whose arrival time is delayed due to winter weather driving conditions as long as they arrive by 2:30pm the day of their reservation.
Refunds will only be issued if Hidden Valley needs to cancel the event due to severe weather conditions. Event cancellation will be posted on the home page of our website at hiddenvalleyadventure.com by 7:30 am the day of the cancellation.
