September is quickly coming to an end, which means October and Oktoberfest is on its way!

Fun for all ages activities include: hay maze, antler toss, etc.

Hidden Valley Adventure’s 2nd Annual Oktoberfest

It’s starting to feel alot like fall… Join us Sunday, October 2nd to celebrate Hidden Valley Animal Adventure’s 2nd annual Oktoberfest.

 The day will be filled with events the entire family will enjoy!

• German food & beverage
• Animal park trolley tours beginning at 10am
• Live German music by The Frankfurters beginning at 3 pm
• Bonfire
• Fun/games for all ages!
    – haymaze
    – Antler ring toss
    – and more!

Mark your calendars for Harvest Day!

Travel back in time on Sunday, August 14 to see how crops were harvested before modern equipment.

The day will be filled with events the entire family will enjoy!

• Live music by Ghost Riders beginning at 1pm

• Antique farm equipment demonstrations & displays
    – stationary hay bailer
    – threser machine
    – ensilage cutter
    – hayloader with side delievery rake

Can you believe that there are only a few days left in July? For Hidden Valley Animal Adventure the days are flying by and in this week alone we have welcomed three new members into our family!

   1.) Burro – Born Sunday, July 24, 2011
        A baby burro, averages around 20 pounds at birth. Foals are up and
        nursing within 30 minutes and are weaned between 5-6 months of
        age. They are full grown by three (3) years of age and can live up to
        35 years old.

   2.) Jack the Sheep
        Sheep are one of the earliest animals to be domesticated for agricultural
        purposes, sheep are raised for fleece, meat, and milk. A sheeps wool is
        the most widely used animal fiber, and is harvested by shearing.

   3.) Sika Deer – Born Wednesday, July 27, 2011 
        The Sika Deer is one of the few deer species that does not lose its spots
        upon reaching maturity. Spot patterns on the deer vary with region ranging
        from large spots to very small spots which are almost invisible.  

Be sure to visit Hidden Valley Animal Adventure and welcome our new additions into the family. We are open Thursday through Monday (Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) from 10am – 4pm and are CLOSED on Tuesday and Wednesday. You can find all the new babies and Jack in the Small Animal Adventure located behind The Lodge at Hidden Valley.

Welcome to the new attraction!  At Hidden Valley Animal Adventure the animals are currently getting ready for all the excitement that will be taking place this spring.

With the arrival of Spring we have also had some new arrivals to our animal family.  These new members include a baby burro, yak, wildebeest, and twin Barbary sheep.

We are excited to be opening our gates to the public and sharing an experience of a lifetime as we take you on a drive through tour through the park and have you interact with over 400 animals from around the globe.  You will be able to see the animals in their natural habitat and  feed the animals right from your hands.
