Can you believe that there are only a few days left in July? For Hidden Valley Animal Adventure the days are flying by and in this week alone we have welcomed three new members into our family!

1.) Burro – Born Sunday, July 24, 2011
A baby burro, averages around 20 pounds at birth. Foals are up and
nursing within 30 minutes and are weaned between 5-6 months of
age. They are full grown by three (3) years of age and can live up to
35 years old.
2.) Jack the Sheep
Sheep are one of the earliest animals to be
domesticated for agricultural
purposes, sheep are raised for fleece, meat, and milk. A sheeps wool is
the most widely used animal fiber, and is harvested by shearing.
3.) Sika Deer – Born Wednesday, July 27, 2011
The Sika Deer is one of the few deer species that does not lose its spots
upon reaching maturity. Spot patterns on the deer vary with region ranging
from large spots to very small spots which are almost invisible. 
Be sure to visit Hidden Valley Animal Adventure and welcome our new additions into the family. We are open Thursday through Monday (Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon) from 10am – 4pm and are CLOSED on Tuesday and Wednesday.
